Technical Information
10 ml Acid Reflux Roll-On
This topical roll-on blend is formulated to support the digestive system by targeting the underlying causes of acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Application Method: Topical Roll-On
Frequency: 2–4 times daily or as needed after meals and at bedtime
Target Zones for Application:
Upper abdomen (epigastric region over the stomach)
Vagus nerve area (behind ears, side of the neck)
Sternum/chest bone
Inner wrists (for rapid systemic delivery via capillary beds)
Apply using circular motions over the abdomen and/or sternum. Gently massage in a clockwise direction over the stomach to stimulate gastric motility and reduce acid build-up. For night-time reflux, apply before lying down.
Children over 3 months (under supervision and with limited topical area)
Pregnant and breastfeeding women (safe due to topical application and dilution)
Elderly individuals with slowed digestive motility
Individuals with chronic indigestion or hiatal hernia-related symptoms
Not to be used directly on broken skin or mucous membranes
Not to be ingested
Keep out of children’s reach.
For external use only.
Skin Sensitivity: Essential oils can cause skin irritation in some individuals. Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reactions occur.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do a patch test before using it on a larger area. Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or other discomfort occurs.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight, to maintain the potency and effectiveness of the essential oils.
Not suitable for use in a diffuser; only undiluted pure essential oils may be used in a diffuser.
- Reducing gastric acidity.
- Supporting gastric emptying and motility.
- Calming esophageal and gastric inflammation.
- Reducing gas pressure and bloating.
- Relieving nausea associated with acid imbalance.
It is intended for external use over specific anatomical reflex zones and vagus nerve stimulation areas, such as the solar plexus, upper abdomen, throat region, and behind the ears.
Recommendation: We suggest using this blend with our Acid reflux 30 ml blend, beet kvass if needed and acid balance herbal capsules if needed. Look at your gut health and add gut cleanse, colon and digestive herbal capsules and raw biotics were needed.
Condition Treated: Acid Reflux (GERD)
Acid reflux occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, often due to transient lower esophageal sphincter (LES) relaxation, delayed gastric emptying, increased intra-abdominal pressure, or excessive acid production. Common symptoms include:
- Heartburn (burning sensation in the chest).
- Regurgitation of sour/bitter fluid.
- Nausea after eating.
- Bloating and belching.
- Chronic cough or hoarseness due to acid affecting the vocal cords.
This blend addresses both functional dyspepsia and symptomatic reflux, particularly in cases triggered by stress, dietary indiscretions, or hormonal imbalances (such as in pregnancy).
- Reduction of gastric acid secretion: Through vagus nerve modulation and limonene interaction with gastric parietal cells.
- Improved gastric motility: Via 5-HT3 receptor modulation and calcium channel inhibition.
- Decreased bloating and gas pressure: By stimulating bile release and relaxing intestinal smooth muscle.
- Mucosal protection: Through anti-inflammatory compounds like gingerol and anethole, supporting tissue repair.
- Parasympathetic activation: Aids in restoring digestion to the “rest and digest” mode, counteracting the sympathetic (stress) response.
- Vagal nerve stimulation: Key for regulating LES function and preventing inappropriate sphincter relaxation.
Clinical Applications
- Functional dyspepsia.
- GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
- Hiatal hernia-related reflux.
- Post-meal bloating and indigestion.
- Nausea during pregnancy (safe when used topically).
- Stress-triggered acid reflux.
- Non-ulcer stomach discomfort.
Conclusion
This 10 ml Acid Reflux Roll-On blend is a medically designed, topically administered tool to combat the physiological causes of acid reflux using evidence-based botanical constituents. It supports both digestive system function and nervous system regulation, restoring balance in individuals suffering from recurring or chronic reflux.

Primary Ingredients
- Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita)
- Active constituents: Menthol, Menthone
- Mechanism: Peppermint relaxes smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract by antagonizing calcium channels and reducing spasms, which can help reduce LES pressure spikes and bloating.
- Additional Effects: Cooling sensation can reduce perceived heartburn and vagal irritation.
- Ginger Oil (Zingiber officinale)
- Active constituents: Gingerol, shogaol
- Mechanism: Stimulates gastric emptying and suppresses nausea through serotonergic (5-HT3) antagonism. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-emetic properties, reducing gastric mucosal irritation.
- Additional Effects: Calms hypersensitive nerve pathways in the digestive tract.
- Fennel Oil (Foeniculum vulgare)
- Active constituents: Anethole, Fenchone
- Mechanism: Acts as a carminative, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory agent. Fennel supports digestion by relaxing the gut, reducing gas buildup, and promoting bile flow, which prevents acid accumulation.
- Additional Effects: Reduces bloating and cramping, especially beneficial in postprandial reflux.
- Lemon Oil (Citrus limon)
- Active constituents: Limonene, citralREF
- Mechanism: Limonene neutralizes gastric acid, supports liver detoxification pathways, and enhances peristalsis. It also tones the gastrointestinal tract and improves bile secretion, aiding digestion and preventing reflux.
- Additional Effects: Uplifting aroma beneficial for stress-induced reflux.
- Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
- Active constituents: Linalool, linalyl acetate
- Mechanism: Modulates the parasympathetic nervous system through vagus nerve stimulation, which slows down gastric acid secretion and calms overactivity in the GI tract. It also reduces visceral hypersensitivity and helps with sleep-related reflux.
- Additional Effects: Anxiolytic and calming, particularly helpful for stress-related digestive symptoms.
- Grapeseed Oil (Carrier)
- Function: A non-comedogenic carrier oil that penetrates the skin quickly, allowing for rapid delivery of actives into subcutaneous tissues.
- Benefit: Rich in linoleic acid and antioxidants, supports skin barrier and improves absorption.
- MCT Oil (Medium-Chain Triglycerides)
- Function: Enhances bioavailability of essential oils by acting as a lipid-soluble vehicle.
- Benefit: Rapid dermal penetration; supports nerve-calming and anti-inflammatory action of the essential oils.
