THYROID SUPPORT BLEND 30ML

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

All our blends come in a 30ml glass bottle, with a glass pipette and a rubber bulb on top. Don’t forget to buy empty veggie capsules when purchasing an ingestible blend. (Our veggie capsules are now available in 90’s and 150’s).

Never pre-fill capsules for future use, as this will compromise the veggie capsule and melt. Instead, always fill the capsules just before drinking them. (But if there is no other option, only prepare up to 3 days’ supply. You MUST then keep them upright in the refrigerator in a marked container; to know which blend it is filled with.)

Method – open the veggie capsule, then open your blend, squeeze, and release the rubber bulb to draw the oil blend up into the glass pipette dropper. Gently squeeze the rubber bulb to fill the larger part of the open capsule. Close the capsule before drinking it. Dosage is always a full capsule of a specific blend (between 15 to 18 drops) unless otherwise indicated.

If you need to take more than one oil blend per day, spread them throughout the day to assist the body with proper absorption. Never drink more than two capsules of different blends at a time.

It is always good to have a very small snack/fruit before drinking capsules.

THYROID SUPPORT BLEND 30ML

The Thyroid Support Blend is formulated to support thyroid function, addressing both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. It helps restore hormonal balance, modulate the immune system, and support the endocrine system. This blend promotes optimal thyroid health and function by targeting the underlying causes of thyroid dysfunction.

Thyroid Dysfunction Overview

The thyroid gland is essential for metabolism regulation, energy production, and hormonal balance. Dysregulation can manifest as:

• Hypothyroidism: Characterized by insufficient thyroid hormone production. Symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, depression, cold intolerance, and dry skin.
• Hyperthyroidism: Characterized by excessive thyroid hormone production. Symptoms include weight loss, anxiety, rapid heart rate, heat intolerance, and muscle weakness.

Underlying causes of thyroid dysfunction include:

• Autoimmune Disorders: Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (hypothyroidism) and Graves’ disease (hyperthyroidism).
• Iodine Imbalance: Both deficiency and excess can disrupt thyroid function.
• Inflammation: Chronic thyroid inflammation impairs normal gland activity.

Thyroid-Related Problems and How the Blend Supports Treatment

1. Hypothyroidism (e.g., Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Primary Hypothyroidism):
   • Support Provided: Myrrh and frankincense reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair in the thyroid gland. Lemongrass enhances T4 to T3 conversion, supporting metabolic regulation.
2. Hyperthyroidism (e.g., Graves’ Disease, Thyroiditis-Induced Hyperthyroidism):
   • Support Provided: Melissa and lavender reduce thyroid gland overactivity by calming nervous system responses and mitigating excessive hormonal release.
3. Thyroid Nodules and Goitre (Benign and Malignant):
   • Support Provided: Basil and peppermint enhance blood flow and nutrient delivery, supporting tissue health and potentially reducing nodule size or swelling.
4. Autoimmune Disorders (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Graves’ Disease):
   • Support Provided: Frankincense and myrrh reduce autoimmune activity, mitigating immune attacks on thyroid tissues and reducing chronic inflammation.
5. Thyroiditis (Subacute, Postpartum, Silent):
   • Support Provided: Clove and lemongrass combat inflammation and oxidative stress, aiding in gland recovery and hormone normalization post-inflammation.
6. Thyroid Hormone Resistance Syndrome:
   • Support Provided: Basil and peppermint improve hypothalamus-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis signaling, enhancing tissue responsiveness to thyroid hormones.
7. Thyroid Cancer (Papillary, Follicular, Medullary, Anaplastic):
   • Support Provided: While not a cure, antioxidant-rich oils like lemon and lavender help reduce oxidative stress, supporting healthy cells and mitigating complications.
8. Metabolic Dysregulation (Weight Gain, Fatigue):
   • Support Provided: Peppermint and clove enhance metabolic rate and energy production by improving thyroid hormone utilization and circulation.
9. Mental Health Disorders (Depression, Anxiety):
   • Support Provided: Melissa and lavender calm the nervous system and modulate stress-induced thyroid imbalances, improving mood stability.
10. Cardiovascular Complications (Hypertension, Arrhythmias):
    • Support Provided: Basil and lavender regulate cardiovascular responses linked to thyroid dysfunction, reducing palpitations and arrhythmias.
11. Infertility and Menstrual Irregularities:
    • Support Provided: Frankincense and basil modulate hormonal balance, supporting reproductive health and mitigating thyroid-related menstrual irregularities.
12. Myxedema (Severe Hypothyroidism) and Thyroid Storm (Severe Hyperthyroidism):
    • Support Provided: Myrrh and frankincense address severe tissue inflammation and damage, supporting gland recovery during extreme conditions.

Mechanism of Action of the Blend

The Thyroid Support Blend works synergistically to:

1. Regulate Immune Function: Balances autoimmune activity to protect against thyroid tissue damage.
2. Modulate Inflammation: Reduces chronic inflammation that disrupts thyroid hormone production and signaling.
3. Enhance Hormone Conversion: Supports the conversion of T4 (inactive) to T3 (active), optimizing metabolic processes.
4. Reduce Oxidative Stress: Protects thyroid cells from free radical damage, ensuring long-term glandular health.
5. Stabilize Stress Responses: Balances the HPA axis, mitigating stress-induced thyroid dysregulation.

Additional Information for Individuals Without a Thyroid

For individuals who have had their thyroid removed (thyroidectomy), this blend continues to provide significant benefits by supporting the body’s hormonal balance and compensating for the absence of the thyroid gland. Ingredients like myrrh, frankincense, and clove oil promote efficient peripheral conversion of T4 to T3 in tissues, ensuring active thyroid hormone levels remain steady. Additionally, this blend aids in reducing systemic inflammation, regulating stress responses through HPA axis modulation and supporting optimal metabolic and cardiovascular function. The antioxidant properties of lavender and lemon also protect against oxidative stress, vital for maintaining overall endocrine harmony. By enhancing nutrient absorption and liver detoxification pathways, the blend ensures that hormone replacement therapies, if used, work more effectively in maintaining homeostasis.

How the Blend Addresses Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism

• Hyperthyroidism: The blend calms excessive thyroid activity by modulating immune responses and reducing inflammation. Ingredients such as lavender and basil help regulate cortisol and adrenergic activity, lowering symptoms like anxiety and rapid heart rate.
• Hypothyroidism: The blend enhances thyroid hormone production and conversion through supportive actions of myrrh, lemongrass, and lemon. It also combats fatigue and cold intolerance by improving cellular metabolism and circulation.

Systems Targeted

1. Endocrine System: Directly supports thyroid hormone production, metabolism, and feedback regulation.
2. Immune System: Balances autoimmunity and enhances resilience against thyroid-specific inflammation.
3. Nervous System: Mitigates stress-related dysregulation of the HPA axis, promoting hormonal equilibrium.
4. Cardiovascular System: Improves circulation and reduces hypertension associated with hyperthyroidism.
5. Detoxification Pathways: Supports liver function for efficient hormone metabolism and toxin elimination.
