I have finally found an eating plan that works for me!
I have been battling with my weight from a young age. I have an underactive thyroid and have been on medication since the age of 14. I have been on many diets and always battle to have the self-discipline to keep to the eating plan and follow it through.
After the birth of my second child, I have battled for more than a year to lose the extra weight I have gained during pregnancy. I have pleaded with the Lord to please help me to lose weight as summer is ahead and nothing fits me. I am also a breastfeeding mom and did not want to try intermittent fasting or any diet pills etc as it is not good for your baby. I was in a desperate need of finding a healthy eating plan that delivers actual results.
A few weeks later one of my friends mentioned the detox plan and I thought it is just another diet – did not pay much attention to it. A week later another friend mentioned the same plan, she is also breastfeeding and said that there is a breastfeeding plan as well that is safe for your baby. It then caught my attention and I started praying about it. I felt the peace of the Lord and approval to start this eating plan. I am so glad that I did as He has been with me every step of the way. Before I started the detox, I prayed that God will please give me self-discipline, self-control, endurance and perseverance to stick to this eating plan and see it through. He has heard my prayer and I have been able to go the whole 40 days without cheating once! That to me is proof that this plan is truly inspired by the Holy Spirit. He wants us to be healthy, to eat clean and to be happy within our own body. He will help you if you just ask Him and allow Him to work within you. I have never felt so alive and energetic before. The brain fog has disappeared, I have a much clearer mind and concentration span. I have a lot of energy and even started packing all my cupboards and children’s cupboards which has not been done in years. My body is happy, I am happy and feel so healthy.
My starting weight was 74.3kgs. For the past year I have been stuck at 73kgs. I would gain a little and then loose a little, but could not get below 73. When I started this plan Aletta mentioned in one of the videos that trauma gets stuck in your fat cells and that if you are stuck at a certain weight you should pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what happened to you at that weight. When I prayed, I realized that the day my son was born I weighed 73kgs when I went into hospital. I had a very long labour and a very difficult birth. My son came out blue, his Apgar score was 2/10. He was in NICU for 5 days. As a first-time mom that was very traumatic for me. I had to forgive the gynaecologist that did not intervein earlier and also had to forgive myself as I was upset that my body did not dilate at a quicker speed and was left in labour for 32 hours. I was upset with my body and did not even realize it! When the Holy Spirit showed this to me, I broke down, repented and hugged myself, forgave myself and started loving my body again for birthing me a perfectly healthy little boy. After that I started losing my weight. I was in awe! In the 40 day detox I have lost a total of 10kgs! We serve an awesome God! I can fit into my clothes again!
This detox plan is definitely doable. It is an easy plan to follow. In the beginning your body does have detox symptoms as it is a big change that is taking place, but once your body has settled and have gotten used to the new way of eating, you actually love eating healthy and clean. You have a whole mind shift and your way of thinking regarding food and eating completely changes.
Lechi’s teachings are very informative, that is what I love about this plan. You don’t just get a plan and there you go. She teaches you about your body, what your body is going through every step of the way, why certain foods and drinks are bad for you and how it effects your body in a negative way, which products (not mandatory) are available from Hadassah Healing Oils to assist the body during the detox process. Her products are wonderful, pure essential oils as used in the bible times. The detox tea really does help for energy and you feel refreshed and revived after a cup or two. I have always battled with constipation; I make use of the Activated charcoal capsules, the floravive probiotic and the MMS Enemas. Combined with the healthy way of eating my tummy is now regular and my gut has been restored – Thank you Lord! The Milk Mamma roll on is also a wonderful product and definitely increases your milk supply. The anti-aging facial oil, eye serum and eye cream are also wonderful as my skin is glowing and looks / feels so healthy!
Overall, I am truly thankful to the Lord for leading me to the Exodus Experience and so grateful for Lechi and Aletta for being tools in the Lord’s hand! This has been such a wonderful journey so far – Physically, Emotionally and Spiritually.
