Lechi and Aletta I want to thank you for your faithfulness to the Lords calling on your life. Your obedience and Holy Spirit passion to share wisdom and love with those in need has helped many. And I am one of the many- thank you! Having tried practically every diet out there, HCG injections, Ozempic and every other fad to desperately loose weight to feel ok about myself and acceptable to others, the Exodus Experience has shown me a different way. Taking the focus off myself, my body, my failures, and my bondage to self-loathing and teaching me to look up and to equip myself not only with knowledge of how my body works and processes food, but how everything from what I believe to how I process emotions impacts the physical state and visa versa. For the first time in my life I have been gifted the practical out working of how my faith, body, soul and emotions align. The Lord has made us beautiful complex and when we come in line with Him He teaches us how to function in this world optimally, a work in progress, not perfection. I have hope for the first time in a long time. Hope to make better choices for myself and my family and to live in a way that glorifies my Lord and Saviour. Not self sabotaging or defeated or hiding, but equipped. I have never been able in my own strength and will power to maintain a consistent healthy way of living. I eventually end up binging on something wine, sugar, excessive eating as a reward for abstaining for a period of time. The yo-yo is real and the cycle of reward and failure lead me to steadily pick up over 30kgs in the last 10years. On the 40 day Exodus Experience I lost 12kgs and to date I have lost 13,8 kgs. Praise the Lord!! This whole experience has truely been an answer to prayer and every message from Lechi and Aletta has been a blessing. I can only see the good that has come from this. A deeper relationship and dependence on my Saviour, a new way of thinking and insight into how my body works, a decrease in my dependence on alcohol, loss of weight and subsequent physical benefits…better sleep, more energy, clearer mind, decreased joint pain and inflammation, no more indigestion, but best of all hope and a freedom from being ruled by food and an acceptance by others based on how I look. I feel a shift to a more balanced, healthy, holistic way of living. And I am so excited for the trajectory of what that means for my future and for my loved ones too!
