Wound How to Treat Accidental Knife Cuts in the Kitchen

Definition:

If you cut yourself during food preparation, infection is your worst enemy.

Soap and water are all you need to clean a wound, even one covered in bacteria.

Symptom:

Whether it’s an emergency or not depends on how long, how deep, and where the cut is located. The good news is that finger cuts are seldom life-threatening.

With finger cuts, the biggest concern is that you could lose finger function or even the entire finger.

However, more severe cuts or amputated fingers do have the potential to be deadly. That’s because a deep gash across the palm or cutting off multiple fingers could lead to significant blood loss.

Description:

Protocol:

Immediately clean the wound and apply 2 drops Myrrh 5ml 10ml to prevent any bacteria and 1 drop Cypress 5ml 10ml to stop the bleeding.

You can also apply the Wounds and Scraps Blend, three times a day over the area as needed.

If the bleeding is severe (not just oozing) or blood is squirting, immediately take steps to control bleeding and seek medical care. Also, if you’ve cut off any part of a finger. These are both real emergencies.
