Heavy metal poisoning refers to excessive exposure to a heavy metal which affects the normal function of the body. Examples of heavy metals that can cause toxicity include: lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, and chromium. Heavy metals are found naturally in the environment, certain foods, medicines, and even in water. They are released into the environment by coal burning plants. Today, an operating coal plant in China will produce enough mercury, lead, and arsenic that you will possibly breathe into your lungs in 7 days. These toxic metals are part of all amalgam (silver) fillings. Amalgam fillings contain up to 50% mercury.
Toxic heavy metals are heavy metals that become poisonous to the body when they are not metabolized or excreted and so accumulate in organs and tissues. They enter the human body through food, water, air, or absorption through the skin.
Again, we restress the concept: “they are poisonous to the body when they are not metabolized or excreted.” We will soon discuss the concept of metabolism and excretion because ultimately your well-being is a factor of how well and easily you can eliminate toxicity.
The main mechanism of heavy metal toxicity includes the generation of free radicals to cause oxidative stress, damage of biological molecules such as enzymes, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, damage of DNA which is key to carcinogenesis as well as neurotoxicity. Even at a very low level, heavy metal ions can cause serious health effects. A small drop of mercury can destroy many nerve fibers. Mercury will replace Iron in your cell’s mitochondria and thereby disrupting and ruining the Krebs cycle, which is the most important metabolic reaction in your body.
Heavy metals disrupt metabolic functions in two ways:
What are the symptoms of heavy metal poisoning?
Oil Pulling Mouth Healer (refer to method at the bottom), swish up to twice daily, for 10 minutes.
Heavy Metal Detox herbal capsules, 3 capsules, three times daily.
Liver and Gallbladder herbal capsules, 2 capsules, twice daily.
Heavy Metal Detox Oil, 1 capsule, daily.
Liver Cleanse Oil, 1 capsule, daily.
Detox Tea, 1 cup every morning.
Oil Pulling Method
Swish 1 Tablespoon, daily, for about 5 minutes (gradually work up to 10 or 20 minutes). Don’t do it vigorously since you’ll be doing it for far longer than you are used to and your jaw will get tired. Gently swirl the oil around your mouth and suck it through the spaces between your teeth. Make sure not to swallow any of it. When finished, spit the oil in the dustbin. Don’t spit it in the sink because when the oil thickens after cooling, it may clog up your pipes.
Use for: Cleansing and detoxifying the mouth; assisting with the following: tooth decay; restoring tooth nerves, inflammation, heavy metal detoxing; brain fog and cleansing the blood.
