Measles is a highly infectious viral illness that can be very unpleasant and sometimes lead to serious complications.

The infection usually clears in around 7 to 10 days.

Symptom:

The initial symptoms of measles develop around 10 days after you’re infected. These can include:

-cold-like symptoms, such as a runny nose, sneezing, and a cough
-sore, red eyes that may be sensitive to light
-a high temperature (fever), which may reach around 40C (104F)
-small greyish-white spots on the inside of the cheeks

A few days later, a red-brown blotchy rash will appear. This usually starts on the head or upper neck, before spreading outwards to the rest of the body.

Beneficial Essential Oils:

Bergamot 5ml 10ml, Eucalyptus 5ml 10ml, Roman Chamomile 5ml 10ml, Lavender 5ml 10ml, Rose Geranium 5ml 10ml,
Tea Tree 5ml 10ml

Blend with a carrier oil:

10 drops Lavender 5ml 10ml
10 drops Roman Chamomile 5ml 10ml
5 drops Eucalyptus 5ml 10ml
5 drops Tea Tree 5ml 10ml

Application: Topical: Dilute 50:50 and apply on spots, 3-5 times daily or as needed.

Mix 6-9 drops of any of the oils mentioned above in 250 ml filtered water, shake well and use it to sponge down the patient 1-2 times daily.

Bath Salts: Mix about 7 drops essential oils (such as Lavender, Rose Geranium, Bergamot, and Tea Tree) with 1 tablespoon sea salt, add to warm bath and soak for about 30 minutes daily.

Baking Soda Bath: Mix 7-10 drops of essential oils (such as Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Geranium Rose) in 1 cup bicarbonate of soda.

Oat Bath: Put a handful of raw oats in a muslin bag (or stocking) and add 7-10 drops of essential oils (such as Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Frankincense, Geranium Rose). Tie the bundle securely, then attach it to the faucet of the bath so the water can run through the bundle before reaching the bath.

Drink 1 capsule, Natural Antibiotic Blend, once a day, for kids over 8 years of age and topically apply 10 drops, over the spine .

Also apply 10 drops, DNA Protector, over the spine, in the evening.

Diffuse 2-3 drops of each oil; maximum 10-12 drops in total, at a time.

NOTE: Always use an ultrasonic diffuser (with a diffusing duration of at least 8 hours), to diffuse pure essential oils. Do not use a humidifier, air purifier, or a candle, as they only smell good and have no further effect. An electric, ultrasonic, diffuser dispenses essential oils into the air through vibrations of a plate which causes ultrasonic waves, creating microscopic particles of oils that disperse into the air. It, therefore, breaks open the essential oil volatile molecules, to have a medicinal effect in that it can penetrate through the blood-brain barrier. It is always good to use a diffuser at night while you are sleeping.
