Irritable Hip

Definition:

Irritable hip is a common childhood condition that causes symptoms such as hip pain and limping.

Doctors sometimes refer to irritable hip as transient or toxic synovitis.

Hip pain isn’t usually severe, but your child may be reluctant to place weight on the affected leg.

Occasionally, an irritable hip may also cause:
-pain in the knee or thigh
-restricted movement in one of the hip joints
-a slightly higher temperature than normal – a normal temperature is around 37C (98.6F)

In younger children who are unable to speak, the only noticeable symptom may be crying at night.

-limping or walking on tiptoe due to discomfort
-complaining of pain in the thigh or knee with no hip pain
-running a low-grade fever under 101 °F
-refusing to walk if the pain is severe
-crying and irritability in younger children

 

Description:

Protocol:

For Adults: Topically apply, up to 30 drops of either Pain Blend 100ml or Sore Muscles and Massage, over the area.

For Children: Apply 10-15 drops each; Cell Restore KIDS and Bone Restore, every night.

When applying more than one oil blend to the same area, spread it out over the course of the day, or wait 10 minutes in between.
