Description:

Protocol:

Insomnia is best treated with a diffuser.

For children, you can use the Sleep Roller as well as the Sleep Blend 30ml, topically apply over their spine, underneath their feet, and around their navel.

Diffuse the following (see below), next to their bed while sleeping; this will have a great impact on the lymphatic system and assist to reprogram the brain into a stable sleeping pattern:

Sleep Blend (for diffuser)

In addition also diffuse :

Cedarwood 5ml 10ml

Roman Chamomile 5ml 10ml

Vetiver 5ml 10ml

Topically apply Cedarwood 5ml 10ml, Lavender 5ml 10ml and Neroli 5ml 10ml in a blend, mixed with a carrier oil, in equal parts, over the spine.  Using essential oils over the spine assists with helping the central nervous system to relax.

For adults, diffuse beside the bed, starting an hour before going to bed and diffusing for 8 hours while sleeping :

Sleep Blend (for diffuser)

In addition:

Bergamot 5ml 10ml

Cedarwood 5ml 10ml

Lavender 5ml 10ml

Neroli 5ml 10ml

Orange 5ml 10ml

Roman Chamomile 5ml 10ml

Valerian 5ml 10ml
Vetiver 5ml 10ml

Ylang-Ylang 5ml 10ml

Also drink 1 capsule, Sleep Ingestible; please note that the Sleep Blend 30ml mentioned above (see children) is not for internal use.

Apply a pure drop each;  Cedarwood 5ml 10ml and Vetiver 5ml 10ml in and around your navel, before going to bed.

Diffuse 2-3 drops (unless otherwise stated) of each oil; maximum 10-12 drops in total, at a time.
NOTE: Always use an ultrasonic diffuser (with a diffusing duration of at least 8 hours), to diffuse pure essential oils. Do not use a humidifier, air purifier, or a candle, as they only smell good and have no further effect. An electric, ultrasonic, diffuser dispenses essential oils into the air through vibrations of a plate which causes ultrasonic waves, creating microscopic particles of oils that disperse into the air. It, therefore, breaks open the essential oil volatile molecules, to have a medicinal effect in that it can penetrate through the blood-brain barrier. It is always good to use a diffuser at night while you are sleeping.
Melatonin – helps promote sleep, best used for short periods of time. Take 1 to 3 milligrams, 30 minutes before bed.
Passionflower – helps relax the nervous system; take 500 milligrams before bed.
Sleep time blend – diffuse clary sage, roman chamomile and lavender next to the bed throughout the night or rub these oils onto the back of the neck.  These oils can also be added to a warm bath with Epsom salt, which contains magnesium and helps to calm the body and reduce muscle pain. Always first mix the oils with the Epsom salts before adding it to the bath water for better absorption.
