The prickly pear carrier oil is commonly used as a carrier oil in skincare and hair care products, but there is little scientific research available on the safety and efficacy of using it internally.

Prickly pear seed oil is rapidly absorbed, highly moisturizing, leaves skin feeling

velvety soft, improves skin elasticity and is a valuable addition to anti-ageing formulations.

The oil is non-irritating and ideal for sensitive skin – it calms inflammation and rehydrates your skin.

Its high linoleic acid content allows the oil to absorb wonderfully and penetrate deeply, without leaving behind a greasy residue.

Do not ingest.

It’s best to do a patch test before using it on a larger area of the skin. Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or other discomfort occurs.

Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas,

if contact occurs, rinse well with water.

When not in use, prickly pear oil is best stored in your refrigerator. For best results, use it within 1 to 2 years of the purchase date.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
