Primary Ingredients
Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
• Key Compounds: Menthol, Menthone
• Mechanism:- Activates TRPM8 cold-sensing receptors in the skin, producing
a physiological cooling effect.
l- Induces cutaneous vasodilation, promoting peripheral heat
loss.- Mild analgesic action via sodium channel modulation, reducing
fever-related discomfort.
• Clinical Effects: Rapid external cooling sensation, temperature
regulation, headache relief.
Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
• Key Compounds: α-pinene, Boswellic Acids
• Mechanism:- Inhibits 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) pathway, reducing leukotriene
mediated inflammation.- Modulates TNF-α and IL-6 levels, critical cytokines in pyrogenic
(fever-inducing) processes.
• Clinical Effects: Controls systemic inflammatory amplification
without suppressing immune activation.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
• Key Compounds: Linalool, Linalyl Acetate
• Mechanism:- Reduces sympathetic nervous system overactivation, calming
heart rate and reducing fever-related stress.- Mild antipyretic effect through central modulation of cytokine
signaling at the hypothalamic level.
• Clinical Effects: Decreases fever-related anxiety, supports
relaxation, and modulates core temperature setpoints.
Eucalyptus Radiata (Eucalyptus radiata)
• Key Compounds: 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol), α-terpineol
• Mechanism:- Acts as a mucolytic and bronchodilator, improving respiratory
f
low often compromised during infections.- Exhibits antiviral and antibacterial properties, reducing
pathogen load contributing to fever.
• Clinical Effects: Supports respiratory health during infection,
assists oxygenation, and secondary cooling.
Lemon (Citrus limon)
• Key Compounds: Limonene, β-pinene
• Mechanism:- Enhances lymphatic circulation, promoting systemic
detoxification and fever resolution.- Provides antioxidant support, reducing oxidative stress during
fever states.
• Clinical Effects: Aids toxin clearance, supports immune system
efficiency, improves vitality during infection.
Carrier Oils:
Grapeseed Oil
Lightweight, rich in Linoleic Acid and Vitamin E, supporting skin
barrier protection during fever-related dehydration.
MCT Oil
Medium-chain triglycerides enhance transdermal absorption
without irritating sensitive febrile skin
Mechanistic Summary Table
