This oil absorbs quickly and has a slightly less greasy feel than some other carrier oils. Baobab oil is rich in fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E, as well as some antioxidants.
It is golden yellow with a very subtle nutty aroma.
Baobab Carrier Oil is derived from the Baobab tree’s fruit seeds, which are cold pressed to produce an emollient, conditioning oil known for contributing excellent hydration to both skin and hair to promote strength and elasticity.
Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils and “carry” them to your skin. That’s because essential oils are very strong and can cause irritation when applied directly to your skin. Most carrier oils are unscented or lightly scented and don’t interfere with an essential oil’s therapeutic properties.
