Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), usually called autism, is something you’re born with. Autism means that the way you think about and experience the world is different to most people. This means you can behave differently to most people, and have different strengths and difficulties.

For example, some autism characteristics (things you think, feel and do) can make it hard to express yourself in social situations, but you may also be particularly knowledgeable and passionate about topics that interest you.

Characteristics of autism

Every autistic person is different and has different experiences. However, some characteristics are common in autistic people.

The way these characteristics show themselves can change with age, and also with the situation you’re in.

For example:

  • the way you use language and talk might be different for most people
you may use facial expressions, tone of voice, and gestures (hand and body movements) differently than most people
  • making and maintaining friendships might be difficult for you
  • you may be good at seeing patterns or solutions, and be good at seeing solutions to problems that other people might not
  • you might have set ways of doing things, and find it difficult to do them differently
  • autistic people are often very good at understanding and working with structured systems, for example, languages, music, and computers
  • you may have good attention to detail, and be good at spotting mistakes
  • you might be passionately interested in certain things, and as a result, learn a large amount about them in a short time – these interests can change throughout your life
  • you might avoid or seek out certain sensations, like loud noises or specific textures, more than most people, and experience them more strongly
  • there might be some foods you particularly enjoy and eat a lot of, and others that you can’t be around due to their texture or smell
  • when working on projects, you might find it difficult to think about the project as a whole – you may do a great job on your part of a group project, but struggle to imagine how it fits in with everyone else’s part
  • while autistic people can be good at paying attention to detail, you might find it difficult to leave out details that are accurate but not needed when talking to people or working on projects
  • autistic people can be very determined and driven, and keep going with tasks or problems when other people may give up
  • you might find you’re always determined to make sure things are ‘perfect’, and sometimes forget to eat or sleep if you’re working on something
  • it can be difficult for autistic people to work in groups where there isn’t clear communication about what they’re expected to do

There are several other possible signs that a healthcare professional will look for when assessing if someone is autistic.

Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD

During the day diffuse (see below) 5 drops Brain Blend, with 2 drops each of the following 2 pure oils; Cedarwood 5ml 10ml and Frankincense 5ml  10ml.

During the night while sleeping diffuse 5 drops each; Trauma Blend and Depression / Anxiety Blend (for diffuser).

Inhale, (see below) 2-3 drops, of the Focus Blend 2-3 times a day.

Use the ADHD Support Roller, and also use the Depression/Anxiety Roller to assist with emotions and with social interaction during the day as needed on the temples, neck, and chest area.

Apply 10-15 drops of the Cell Restore KIDS at night, over the spine.

Diffuse 2 drops of each of the following pure oils: Cedarwood 5ml 10ml, Neroli 5ml 10ml, Lavender 5ml 10ml, and Rose Geranium 5ml 10ml to assist with hyperactivity.

For social and anxiety disorders you can apply the Depression / Anxiety Blend over the chest area and also inhale.

For autistic symptoms, apply the Neurodivergent Support Blend over the neck, and chest area, and also inhale.

Diffusing the following pure oils will also assist with autistic symptoms, especially with emotional expression and interaction:

Basil 5ml 10ml

Frankincense 5ml  10ml

Neroli 5ml 10ml

Rose Geranium 5ml 10ml

Ylang-Ylang 5ml 10ml

For children above 15 years of age, a suggestion would be to drink 1 capsule, Trauma Ingestible at night to assist the body and brain to process trauma, emotions, and communication.

In addition other oils to diffuse include (diffuse with some or all of them) :

Bergamot 5ml 10ml

Cedarwood 5ml 10ml

Lavender 5ml 10ml

Peppermint 5ml 10ml

Roman Chamomile 5ml 10ml

Sandalwood 5ml 10ml

Vetiver 5ml 10ml

Diffuse 2-3 drops of each oil; maximum 10-12 drops in total, at a time.
NOTE: Always use an ultrasonic diffuser (with a diffusing duration of at least 8 hours), to diffuse pure essential oils. Do not use a humidifier, air purifier, or a candle, as they only smell good and have no further effect. An electric, ultrasonic, diffuser dispenses essential oils into the air through vibrations of a plate which causes ultrasonic waves, creating microscopic particles of oils that disperse into the air. It, therefore, breaks open the essential oil volatile molecules, to have a medicinal effect in that it can penetrate through the blood-brain barrier. It is always good to use a diffuser at night while you are sleeping.
Inhale Method
Drip 2-3 drops of essential oil or as otherwise directed, into the palm of the hands, rub once to open the molecules (rubbing will evaporate the oil), cup your hands around your mouth and nose, and deeply inhale.

Supplement with Omega-3 and Rawbiotics Gut

A recent study found that inhaling Rosemary 5ml 10ml  produced a significant enhancement of performance for overall quality of memory.  In addition, inhaling a combination of rosemary and lemon in the morning showed significant improvement in personal orientation.
